A paper towel or tissue, and a plastic sheet mimics the surgical mask's absorbent and water-proof layers. Place the paper towel and the plastic sheet in between, line up the holes, and press the clip firmly together to lock them in place. Take a common rubber band to secure the mask to both ears using the holes to adjust as needed.
