Face Shield that Clips onto Your Glasses

These clips make it possible to have a face shield that attaches to your glasses without bending the arms of the glasses. They consist of a glasses clip that clips onto the arms of your glasses. The opening that clips onto your glasses is 4.25 mm wide and 7.1 mm tall. You might have to adjust that to fit your glasses. You can then slide the clips forward and backward on the arms to adjust how far the shield sticks out from your face. The shield can be a binder cover that is any thickness. I cut the corners of the binder cover. There is a cap that goes on the outside of the shield to hold the shield to the clip. I don't trust a friction fit to hold the shield to the clips so I used 2mm x 10mm flat head self tapping screws to hold it all together. Each screw goes through the cap and threads itself in the binder cover and the glasses clip. You need a right and a left glasses clip because there is a little tab that sticks out and keeps the shield from sliding around. You also need a right and a left cap to connect to the glasses clips. I did not make the hole for the screw in the center of the clip. Therefore it looks a little different on each side. I made several cap designs that way I can have a different look every day of the week if I want. You can also make the caps a different color than the clips.
