Tonight's mission - dig out the old Kinect 360 and hook it up to the latop. This model is the first attempt at scanning to test the setup using Kscan3D Tutorial followed here: https://youtu.be/yXZRvrnQ51w Also it was my first play with Meshmixer and Scultpris to do a bit of cleanup of the original scanned model. Two models attached, the first was after a bit of smoothing, the second added a crease to define the chin resting on hand. Lessons learnt: when they say use nice even lighting I'm guessing the loss of detail in the scan is from the single incandescent room light used for the test. Also, lots to learn about meshmixer :/
