Here is the Factory mini desktop organizer, nice, original, useful and easy to make in the "Up-cycling" spirit. For the design, the idea was to build this organizer by re-using a jam glass jar for the central pen receptacle in order to print only the right amount of pens. For the look, it's a matter of tastes and references :) located between a citrus press, and a futuristic machine inspired by the Star-Trek universe of the 70's ! Your turn to see .... In terms of functionality, the base of the organizer has several compartments for freely storing paper clips, staples, eraser, tube glue, etc., as well as three connectors for storing USB keys and six slots for SD cards. To make it, you will have to:- Recover an old glass jam jar. The chosen model must have small flat faces on the bottom. This model of jar is very common. However, there are variants with 10 faces (10F) such as the jars of the famous brand "Bo.ne Ma..n", and others with 12 faces (12F). In the package you will find the two printable versions according to the model you own. In case of doubt, the outside diameter of the pot, at its base, should be ~71.5mm, and the height of the pot ~95mm. Print the four separate pieces in the colours you like. The four pieces include the hexagonal base (10F, or 12F version to choose from) in white on the model presented, the coloured hexagonal strapping, the coloured lid, the white separator on the top of the lid.- The assembly is designed so that no glue is used: All the elements are simply positioned: the jar fits lightly into its support base, the lid is screwed on, the separator above the lid is clipped on and the coloured strapping is simply inserted into its base. This makes it easy to change the colours of your organiser without having to reprint all the parts.
