Failed Braille Nametag

Failed Braille Nametag

thingiverse

Our project is a set of name tags with text printed in the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA). We were drawn towards this approach because we were inspired by the 3D-printed braille name-tags, however, we were curious about other modalities of accessibility. The IPA is not always thought of as an outlet for accessibility, however, it is used widely by linguists, speech pathologists, and even singers and actors in order to help people learn how to pronounce words or phrases across linguistic barriers.
