FAILURE: Broom Hanger Thing

I am a firm believer that errors are as important in the learning process as successes, so I give you my first proper failure in this little endeavour. It was supposed to be a wall mounted broom holder in which you screw it to the wall, and then pressing the broom into the rubberised part so that it would grip around it and hold it in place. As you can probably tell, my understanding of TPU at this point is somewhat lacking. If you can improve on it good luck to you. [Intentionally null of licence.] But any advice you can give me on using TPU would be appreciated. What I have learned thus far: TPU needs to be a little warmer as too it should be a little thicker and printed slower. I think the design in general has future potential though; maybe with a thicker TPU leading toward the centre of the long part.
