As part of a reverse engineering design project, the Artec Leo captured an entire motorcycle fairing in a mere 15 minutes, using the new, AI-powered HD Mode. All the thin edges and various holes have been perfectly carried over into the digital realm with the utmost accuracy. Processing the scan in Artec Studio software took just 20 minutes, after which the 3D model was ready for export. At that point, the possibilities for this 3D model are many, whether for reverse engineering, rapid prototyping, quality inspection, or a host of other applications.
