The Ultimaker comes from the Netherlands, the Fairphone comes from the Netherlands, and the material from colorfabb, well, guess. Obviously the first prototype had to be made in Dutch Orange! The base model is a bare cover. To stamp some holes in Blender is no big deal. Note that it is not legal to publish the model with the Fairphone logo until they offer their planned community logo. Don't ask for it and don't publish one yourself. However, you may make one for personal use.I'm still improving details. The dimensions are quite critical, the case must fit tightly. On the bottom, the case just overlaps the camera, and the top edge is just enough to go slightly above the level of the display glass. I am interested in feedback, maybe small differences in calibration or mechanical variations may lead to different results. How to stamp patterns:use the background picture in Inkscape to arange your shapes around the phone camera and speaker, and to hit the w/h ratio. Fill the shapes and combine them to one curve before exporting. Make sure the shapes are closed (they would not fill if open).Import the base STL and then the SVG. Scale: I had to enlarge the curve by 500: select the curve and hit "s x 500 <enter> s y 500 <enter>". Flip with "r y 180", move slightly in -Z direction and place properly on the case.Change with TAB to edit mode, "a" to select all triangles, ALT-e to extrude. Draw the extrusion through the case. Then go back to object mode with TAB.Select the case, add a modifier (the wrench symbol) "Boolean", operation "Intersect", and select the curve in the Object drop down. Now hide the curve object and you're done.
