This is a fake battery you can put into a Knex motor, this would enable you to use an external power supply to power the motor without opening and modding your kne'x motor. The 'Fake battery' is hard to print. I would suggest printing it as shown in the image, this will increase the strength while printing is still doable. For the springs; I just bought some springs at Ali, if yours don't fit, the inventor files are included so you can change it. Also you can try to contact me if you can't do it yourself.
With this file you will be able to print Fake Kne'x battery, use external PSU (+Inventor source) with your 3D printer.
