Fake Tree Mount for Echo Dot (3rd Gen)

Fake Tree Mount for Echo Dot (3rd Gen)

Our new fake Christmas tree we purchased on Amazon had an Echo Dot (3rd Gen) and smart plug included! It seemed logical to me that this should be in the tree, not near the tree. The Dot is a bit heavy and bulky to be an ornament so I opted to connect it via the trunk. I have ours at ~3.5ft from the ground, which gives plenty of length for the power cable. The print is designed for a 30mm trunk. PETG had shown good flex and hold (at least so far). If any other trunk widths are desired, I'd be happy to adjust the print for other sides. Please do measure with calipers for accuracy. There is attempted zip tie guides towards the front and back of the branch guide channel on the bottom of the print. These didn't print well for me, but I left them for anyone who has a more accurate printer to try. It's clipped snug enough, however, that I'm not concerned for my install. The guides on either side of the trunk clip are for the power cord. There's one on either side just for a choice on which side of the branch to run it.
