After finding and printing a solid mini nuke model I was happy with (designed by Lilykill https://www.myminifactory.com/object/fallout-4-mini-nuke-16886; modified version uploaded here with his permission), I decided I'd like it to be a container, so modified it to be hollow with a screw-on lid. Assembled size is approximately 201mm tall, 103mm wide. UPDATE 3/12/17: I completely forgot the body dowels when uploading. They're there now. Print Settings Printer Brand: Wanhao Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 V2 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 15% Notes: Supports only needed for container cap. Print fins and fin brackets (x4); print all other pieces (x1). Post-Printing Making it Pretty Mask off threads on container. Sand with 80 grit. Spray with 1 coat of filler primer. Sand with 120 grit. Spray with 1 coat of filler primer. Sand with 320 grit. Spray with base colors. Weather to taste. Fin brackets are attached to outer ring with (16x) M2 bolts. Holes are sized so threads will be cut by the bolts. I personally couldn't find the right size/style bolts for the body of the nuke at my local hardware stores, so I just modeled and printed them. If you can find them they are (8x) M3, (8x) M4, (6x) M5. How I Designed This Original and Modifying All of my modifications to the original model were done in 123D Design.
