Fallout 4 Nuka Dark / Blank - Liquid Safe Using Internal Bottle

<p>This is based off <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2013823">BlueFenix</a> design, which I really liked for the flat bottom and the twist cap. I split up and reworked the model so it can cover a 16.9 FL oz Perrier plastic bottle, which you should be able to find in most convenience stores. This should allow for a fully liquid usable Nuka Dark bottle. I picked the Perrier bottle because it was similar in design to the new Nuka Cola Bottle design. The actual bottle cap from actual bottle fits inside the printed cap, so it can be fully closed. I took some liberties with the cap size, as you can see, but I think it looks fine.</p><p>Edit: I've uploaded a body without the raised texted, so you can print your own labels if you wanted. Thanks Alpokemon for the suggestion.</p><h3>Print Settings</h3><p><strong>Printer:</strong></p><p>Maker Select / Wanhoa Duplicator I3</p><p><strong>Supports:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Yes</p><p><strong>Notes:</strong></p><p>The only place you need supports is for the lettering on the body and the cap if you print it right side up.</p><p>The pictures I have up are of a .3mm layers at 70mm/s , but I was printing, tweaking, printing, etc, so I used those settings to cut down time. The edges a little more visible then if I printed at small layer at a lower speed.</p><p>The body is the largest item with a diameter of 94.1mm and a height of 118mm.</p><h3>Post-Printing</h3><p>I'd suggest you give all the edges a decent sanding before gluing everything together, so the part lines becomes less visible. The bottom of the Perrier bottle should be glued in so it doesn't rotate when twisting the cap off and on. The cap doesn't need to be glues in as if you twist the cap onto the bottle and then twist the printed cap over it, the caps will lock in place and when you unscrew the printed cap the original bottle cap will come up. The body piece is a tight fit over the neck/cap ring piece of the bottle, just use a little force and it will pop over it.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Category: Props</p>
