I repainted an old model, perfecting the textures in private so I could tweak them to my liking. The substance painter trial has been a game-changer - I'm thoroughly enjoying it so far, although I wish it weren't so pricey, as it's spoiled me for other options and now I don't want to go back to using the more basic cycles material editor.
