False Front Cabinet Clip

False Front Cabinet Clip

thingiverse

This clip assembly is used on cabinets to attach a false front, such as the panel in front of the kitchen sink. Another use might be to create removable panels for a printer enclosure. It’s printed as oriented in the photos so that the part of the clip that expands around the post doesn’t have a shear line/print layer at the flex point. The approximate dimensions are shown in the following link to the mass-produced version that I based this on: http://www.swisco.com/False-Front-Clip/pd/Other-Drawer_Cabinet-Replacement-Hardware/32-134 US Hardware: https://www.mcfeelys.com/6-x-1-2-wood-screws-zinc-plated-steel-truss-head-combo-drive-qty-100-8vz79.html For the project I’m building I needed 16 of them and I’m too cheap to buy them. This version is slightly less beefy than the original.
