This is a fan bracket for the Little Dot MkIII (Mk3) headphone amp. It holds a 92mm or 80mm fan above the tubes (valves) to allow for better cooling. Cooling the amp generally shouldn't be necessary (vacuum tubes are supposed to generate heat!), but this may help keep the chassis temperature reasonable if airflow around the amp is restricted. The power tubes (especially the 6H30) generate a lot of heat. The bracket is held in place by slipping it over the transformer box. This is designed so you can quickly and easily access your tubes. No tools are necessary to install or remove it. I have uploaded several different versions for different heights. I recommend the 25mm version (shown in the profile picture); this will allow you to mount a fan on the bottom of the bracket and still have room to clear the standard 6P6-type power tubes. The 0mm version is flush with the top and will require mounting the fan on the top of the bracket. The FreeCAD file is included if you want to customize your bracket (change height, side wall length, etc). Alternately, you can ask and I may send or upload a modified STL file. It should be possible to modify the model to fit some of the other Little Dot models, but I don't have access to them to take the necessary measurements.
