IMPORTANT UPDATE !!! Occasionally I found that the most common lenght of nozzle throat on Geeetech MK8 is 38mm, so I adapt original (my throat is 30mm) for that dimension too!!!. (Nozzle throat is M6 threated tube/barrel with inserted PTFE tube and connect heater ALU block with nozzle and extruder.) For 30mm throat please use : dd_combo_senh.stl dd_combo_duct.stl For 38mm throat please use. This model is universal for throats from 30-38mm : dd_combo_senh_38.stl dd_combo_duct_38.stl ************************************ I made this fan duct with sensor holder primary for my needs, beacuse I'm not fully satisfied with any offered. Of course I'll be very happy if someone else find that this duct is useful for them too. This is Remixed fan duct Original is compatible only with Anet printers, so I decided to adapt for Geeetech Prusai3 pro B and other printers which use Geeetech MK8 extruder holder. This cooling duct is intended for use with the standard unmodified Geeetech Prusai3 pro B printer. What is different by comparison with original "Mistral": -ducts are proportionally extended (longer) 5mm -for easily accessing to extruder, fan holder is bevelled 22.5 degrees -added duct horizontal adjustable holder for Geeetech MK8 bracket -added horizontal adjustable 3DTouch holder (print as separate part) All forms, dimensions, positions and distances are taken from manufacturers (and designer) public materials, and measured by proper tools. This printer is good and useful, but not first class product. It is possible that dimensions on same type of printer are not same. So, it is possible that my measured printer dimesion are not 100% same with yours. Maybe you will need to make some corrections by removing material (too big distance... for e.g distance between sensor and bed) ) or add material (too small distance.. for e.g. ducts and heating block). Or (re)make your own fan duct as I did. For proper mounting this fan duct, you must rotate ALU block heater for 180 degrees horizontaly and verticaly (picture). Vertical rotation is necessarily if you want keep heater's and temp. sensor wires on right side. Horizontal because of ducts (near nozzle mutch as possible). i made fan duct in PLA and everythin work fine. Who want to know more about this type of ducts, visit "Mistral" pages https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2121279. If someone made this duct, please leave photo/comment.
