thingiverse

OpenSCAD fan duct design is parameterized for an E3D v5 hot end and Prusa i3 reworked Wades extruder; source code available on Thingiverse and GitHub. Created by a beginner in CAD software, so improvements are welcome. Inspired by another design, it uses files from Shapes library. Print without support in ABS. Before printing, set necessary parameters. Updates include J-Head and E3D v6 versions. For accurate measurement, homing the z axis and measuring mountToHotEndBottomZ and mountToFilamentHoriz parameters as shown in photos. Print in ABS using Cura with specific settings, and for E3D v6 version, use 0.2 layer height.
