Fan extension for "Printrbot Simple, 300mm Y Axis-No Sag!"

This fan addition is designed for Thingiverse's item number 242185. The Y attachment works well, but prolonged usage can warp support due to the extruder's high temperature. This accessory cools the affected area, preventing bending or further distortion. Implementation began post-October 23rd, 2013 for Printrbot Simplified models. To print successfully, use 2 perimeters and a 70% infill at a modest 30 mm/s speed to prevent fan issues. Required materials are a 40mm fan (with a 10mm thickness) and assorted M3 screws (20mm and three 16mm). The process involves attaching the fan to the extension, then mounting this extension on the extruder's side. Happy printing!
