This is a cooling shroud for an Intel Bay Trail processor. I have an HTPC powered by an ECS BAT-I motherboard with an Intel Pentium J2900 processor, and I was running into intermittent issues where the chip would get too hot and start throttling the speed down. The processor does not have a fan by default, and since it's not a socketed processor the options for aftermarket coolers was limited. It was in a closed cabinet with a 4 bay NAS and a couple other thinks so I know it was primarily due to a lack of air flow. Since I've added the cooler I've had 0 throttling issues and the CPU temp has dropped an average of 15-20C. Overall I'm very satisfied. I designed all 3 at the same time, but the 40mm provided more than enough airflow without causing any kind of clearance issues in the case. Print Settings Printer: Monoprice Replicator 1 Clone Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.25 Infill: 20 Notes: I print it with the fan side down, and it prints just fine without supports or rafts.
