Fanatec BMW GT2 Wheel Magnetic Shifter Mod

I looked around and could not find a decent solution that did not require permanently adhering an N52 magnet to the shifter paddle on the Fanatec BMW GT2 wheel so I designed a new one that does not require any permanent modification of the wheel components. This design will also move the paddles 3.5mm towards the outside of the wheel allowing easier reach. Here is a video showing the action and can explain the mounting a bit more. https://youtu.be/8jqN1yxiLWk You will need the following hardware to mount the new components as well as four 15mm x 3mm N52 magnets (Mine measure roughly 14.75mm x 2.7mm). There is no need to glue the magnet into the part labeled **GT2ShifterBracket3** as it is captured by the part cup. I would recommend using a small dab of super glue on the other magnet locations. - M3 x 12mm Cap Head Hex Drive Screws (4) - M3 x 16mm Button Head Hex Drive Screws (4) - M3 Washer (4) You can use all cap head screws but I prefer the button head as the final product is cleaner. Re-use the M3 lock washers and washers that you remove from the OEM shifter fastening with the M3 x 12mm cap head screws. **Update 02/06/2021** - Made the magnet pocket on the GT2ShifterBracket3 piece slightly deeper to allow the magnets to be closer together. - Made the slot holes on the GT2ShifterBracket3 piece slightly wider to allow the M3 screw more clearance.
