Fanatec Wheel Holder Wallholder

I guess this is a bit of a niche thing, but maybe it helps someone out. I recently got my second Fanatec wheel to substitute my P1 rim and was looking to protect the P1 from dust on the contactors while it is „stored“. Sure, I could have just put a bit of tape over the opening, but where's the fun in that? I also did not want the screw for the tightening mechanism to get lost. Finally I decided to store the wheel on the wall too. The results are uploaded to this thing. You'll need an M6 nut to pressfit into the respective cutout. There are four files provided: WheelStorage_WallHanger_simple.stl – This is a very simple wallhanger. Print it, put in the nut, insert it into the wheel, tighten the screw and chuck it on a hook or a nail using the hole at the top. WheelStorage_WallHanger_sleek.stl – This makes the handling of the wheel a bit nicer in my opinion. The „simple“ WallHanger above is still needed and is inserted into this „cradle“ which is permanently mounted to the wall. Note: I have not printed this (reason – see next file description), so I do not know how well the countersunk dimensions work with which screws. The screwhole has a diameter of 6mm. WheelStorage_WallHanger_overengineered.stl – Because I did not want to drill a new hole into my walls, I decided to „recycle“ a screw that is already in the wall. Since that screw also holds up a cupboard, I needed some „headroom“ to accomodate for the wheel diameter. That's why the extension is at the top. Due to the length it bends a bit (see pictures), but seems to hold just fine. I printed this part using Cura „tree supports“. They were a bit tricky to remove but with some pliers and a knife it was done in ~5 minutes. The screwhole has a diameter of 4mm. WheelStorage_JustThePlug.stl – This is just the central part („the plug“) for easy remixing. Maybe you guys come up with some cooler mounting mechanisms. I tested this both with the P1 „screw based“ mechanism and the „simplified quick release“ of McLaren GT3 V2. Both get a nice grip on the print. I printed this in PETG with 20% Gyroid infill (Cura) with a 0.6mm nozzle and it seems to be rock solid (no warranty though ;-) ).
