Fancy Fan - DC 5-12V

Fancy Fan - DC 5-12V

thingiverse

A vintage-styled mostly printed electric fan. Mine puts out a decent breeze, but is a bit noisy because of the cheap 625 bearing I'm using. It's designed to use a brushed hobby motor - make sure to get a low RPM motor to avoid burning out. Runs great on a 2S LiPo battery or 5-12V supply. Non-printed parts: * 10mm M3 button head bolt - 27pcs * 8mm M3 bolt - 4pcs * M3 lock nut - 26pcs * 16mm or longer M3 bolt (for attaching motor to base) * 25mm M5 socket head bolt * M5 lock nut * 625 Bearing * 35mm Nylon Standoffs (alternatively these can be printed) * Brushed motor (24 and 34mm diameter mounts provided, cassette deck motors work well) - 1pc * Wire for motor, if needed * Momentary lever switch (same as the ones in mechanical endstops) * Superglue (1 drop on the shaft adapter if it's slipping) * Hot glue (for gluing down switch in position) * Wires, zipties, etc.
