(Sorry english readers, since this item is for a french device, I'll first write the description in french and may be translate it later). My freebox is in a small closet, and even if I leave the door open, the temperature rises a lot: In steady state, at room temperature of 27°, I have: CPUB: 88.2° CPUM: 77.1 SWITCH: 64.1 HDD: 53 After using super quiet fans on two projects (UV mosquito repellent https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4387890 and Aquarium Cooler https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3874325) I figured it would be ideal for cooling a freebox as well. Made with 3 very small fans (30mm on each side) sold on Amazon in particular to ventilate Raspberry Pi systems, reasonably quiet (but less than Noctua or Arctic) but with the advantage of working under 5V, this system allowed me to lower the internal temperatures by more than 20°, with an ambient temperature of the apartment at 27°. UPDATE: the 30mm square PI fans get noisier after a few months. I replaced them with two Noctua NF-A4x10 that also work under 5V, with a new PCB adapter, identical results on temperatures, but higher cost (10€ the 4 30mm fans, 24€ the two 40mm Noctua) The fans are mounted in parallel and are powered by one of the freebox's USB sockets. They are inaudible at 50cm distance. I reused the part to insert in the freebox proposed by DarKou https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:968264 which is well fitted. The results stabilize after 1h of operation: CPUB: 62.7 CPUA: 50.3 SWITCH: 41.9 HDD: 38 always at room temperature of 27°.
