This set of models is inspired by one of my favorite games of all time, Man o' War, which is sadly long out of print. If you are lucky enough to have access to a set of rules for this game, these model could function as adequate proxies. The real lead goes for astronomical prices on eBay. If you're curious, you can learn more about the game here: The Sea of Claws The models aren't particularly detailed, as they were designed to print on my old Prusa Mendel, which would struggle to reproduce sub-millimeter details. Its been years since I looked at these files. so I thought it was time to share them with the world. I hope I didn't miss any. This are all modeled from scratch, inspired by long out of print commercial miniatures. No infringement of the original designers IP is intended. These are unofficial and not intended to compete with the real product in any way. In fact, nothing would thrill me more than for these models to inspire enough interest to justify bringing the game back into print so we can all spend our hard-earned money on it! If any copy-write holder takes offence to this work, please let me know! *One of the photos of painted minis were done my Shaun A. He did a really nice job of showing off how good they can look. I used the photo without his consent... I hope he doesn't mind! Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Mendel Rafts: No Supports: No Notes: I believe that all of these should be printable without support, and there is support model in where needed. The Hulk may not be right, I think it should have support, or needs to be printed in parts - the files for which I can't track down just now, but I'll keep looking. Post-Printing Some parts are designed to be warmed and reshaped after printing, hopefully it's obvious which. Some have built in support that will need to be removed / cleaned up. Some are in multiple pieces and require assembly. Bases for flying units are not included. I used dowel/tooth picks/skewers for masts and paper for sails - you'll need to work that out on your own.
