Fast Freddy Tailbox Update 23/2/2023: I put in a revised version of dwg 4 which now includes a note on soaking some plywood parts before fitting. Also added some pics, one of them shows plywood being soaked. Regards SN This is a lightweight, aerodynamic tailbox designed to be compatible with my leaning trike (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4201871) and its sister recumbent bike (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5636036) . Drawings do not provide full assembly details, but I have added as many photos as I can, and you can also see here, (https://modularbikes.blogspot.com/2022/04/ossie-nicholson-memorial-ride-prelude.html). Good luck with the building! The name Fast Freddy Tailbox is just a little bit less boring than 4mm Birch Ply Lightweight Tailbox, I am already calling my bikes “Fred” anyway, and Fast Freddie Markham (https://newatlas.com/world-human-powered-speed-record-5343-miles-in-an-hour/5830/) held several Human Powered Vehicle records. And to cap it off, “Fast Buck Freddie” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yhTCHlPsLY) is a song by Jefferson Starship which I quite like, to quote it, “Sing it now while you still have a song, Grab on now while you’re still feeling strong”
