This mount is meant for a 1306 or 1407 size motor and a 3in propeller. The mount is angled so that when the drone is flying level the thrust will be directed horizontally behind the drone. If the drone is required to go somewhere fast, then this might increase the speed by adding more thrust, and by decreasing the angle the drone is required to tilt to move forward.
