The FDL-2+ is the first major upgrade to the FDL-2. It replaces the stepper motor and driver with a dc gear motor and active braking circuit. This brings the max rate of fire from 8 darts per second up to 13 and drops a noticeable amount of weight off the blaster. If you are building an FDL-2+ please visit the main FDL-2 thing first.
