This is the caliburn katana magwell mushed together with the FDL-2 magwell until I had something working. https://gfycat.com/AlienatedUniformIvorybackedwoodswallow https://gfycat.com/DependentVillainousFruitbat This is an early release, and currently has the following issues/requirements - Has a bit awkward mag release - Doesn't yet have covers for the race way - Requires manually widening the holes for the magrelease. I used 1/8 and 9/64 bit for the magwell mag release holes, and the hole in the mag release itself, respectively. - A long 6-32 screw was used to hold the magrelease in place. - A hole was drilled near the top of the mag release to add a screw which holds a spring in place. There is currently no hole in the mag release model. - There is no magwell top insert yet. That's trivial to make and I should get to it in a day or two. - The fdl grip with the battery wires does not screw into the magwell, it's blocked by the mag release design. This doesn't seem like a major structural issue, so I might just leave it. - There are still screw holes for the old mag release design. But that's it. I've fired a katana mag or two through it flawlessly. Printing: Magwell: No supports, at 20% infill, .2MM Layer height PLA. I used a brim, probably didn't need one. Mag release: No supports, 90% infill, .2MM layer height PLA.
