*AIR HORNS GOING OFF* <Hacker mode engaged> <Finds backdoor into PFDL's computer> <locates V body kit files> <downloads> <pulls up thingiverse> <uploads super special files> *more airhorns b/c why not* This post was going to go up on April fools day but due to slight delay, it's going up on the 10th :/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- But for real, I was the one who made the V body kit for PFDL so these are the actual stl's. These were originally made to add to my portfolio (my major requires a portfolio review to determine whether or not I have what it takes) and that is the reason the files have not been released. Now that that's out of the way you all know that all the hassle has been my fault all along :P Now, onto some other stuff, these are of course the official files for the V body kit for the FDL 2. Most of these parts should fit standard size printers, the only ones that may be problematic are the top rail and the stock. Both of those parts fit on the bed of a Prusa mk2s either lengthwise across the bed or at a diagonal. The angled magwell grips are easy prints with no supports required, the rail carriage should also be a pretty easy print (supports are pretty beneficial for if you want to have clean slots for attachment screws). It should be noted that the inner diameter of the extended barrel is meant to fit 1/2" PVC pipe so if you want to put a Nerf style barrel attachment on the end of the blaster it should be super easy to toss together one that fits the pvc pipe. It should be pretty obvious that these parts have an origin in the design of the Kriss Vector (hence the V name). If you have any questions just drop a comment and I'll do my best to get back to you. Want to see any other attachments, bits, or bobs for the FDL 2? Let me know! I'm working on another, much larger thingy for the FDL (not an official thing, but still something fun) so look out for that too ;)
