This is a FEA of a simple Solar Panel Mounting Structure to analyse the stresses developed in the components due to wind force. The goal is to see whether the mounting elements would have FOS greater than 1 or not.The Clamp is also examined for pulling force separately because the wind force will not produce any pulling effect.Free body forces and frictional forces are depicted to make the analysis realistic.I did this analysis on the request of one of my friend. It took me quite a while to figure out the final dimensions of the elements.
