Feeder and filament guide for Ultimaker 2

This feeder and filament guide suit the Ultimaker 2.The pinching pressure of the filament can be adjusted thanks to a clamping screw. A latch and a hook allow to quickly remove the filament. Two aluminium tubes guide the filament in the feeder for the sake of durability. Two pulleys mounted on bearings straighten the filament before it enters into the feeder.The designed filament guide, which replaces the original plastic rod, is composed of a pulley mounted on a bearing and a shaft. The pulley consists of two shells that screw around the bearing.The proposed feeder uses components (fixation screws, spring, bearing, ...) of the original feeder but requires additional screws, bearings, bolts, and washers (see cad files for information on sizing).
