Female deity restored as a muse

This larger than life marble sculpture depicts a female deity. The figure, sculpted in the Kore of Eleusus type, has later restorations to depict the woman as a Muse. The work is a late 2nd century copy of a Greek original of the second half of the 5th Century BC.
