Female Funerary Statue II at the Louvre, Paris, France

This figure is wearing a tunic showing the right shoulder with a cloak in an arrangement known by several funeral or votive reliefs, especially to represent the goddess Persephone or Kore. The work suggests that the statue was placed in a burial niche (a small temple) and belonged to a large family monument with several characters.   This object is part of "Scan The World".
