Female Space Trooper

Female Space Trooper

Who says boys have to have all the alien-shooting fun? This female human shaped space trooper miniature (suitable for use in a variety of tabletop war or roleplaying games) is armed and ready to kick ass. On my Replicator 2, I could fit a squadron of 27 of these lasses - almost an entire army. From zero to military commander in under two days. Quite the disruptive technology. Instructions I printed on the highest quality my machine could reasonably handle, with all the support material it could throw at me. Support material is likely essential. Print one each of FemaleTrooper_ReadyStance and FemaleTrooper_ReadyBase. Trim (or clean up the support) and snap the model and base together. For information - On a Rep2, on highest rez and raft/support, each miniature/base pair took 1hr and 15 minutes to print. This time is linear, so 3 models take 3hrs and 45 minutes. 27 models would take in the region of 34hrs. Painting - she takes paint well. A first coat of primer will help the paint adhere, but it's not too bad if you decide not to. I recommend a very dark base coat, followed by a damp 'dry brush' in the main color you want, and then a thin black wash into the joints and details. Paint the weapon black and then drybrush with metal/silver. Paint the base - or decorate as you choose. I will be doing more poses for the Female Space Trooper, so you can have some variety if you decide to field these ladies in either mixed squads, or on their own.
