Fence This design will create the parts for a miniature 2-rail fence of any length. Posts and rails have notches to fit together with a bit of cyanoacrylate (Super Glue). If you're old enough to remember them, think Lincoln Logs. I've created rails in three lengths, one each with notches for 3, 6 or 9 posts. It should be possible to create a rigid fence of any length by staggering the rail ends. This was originally created for a repair to a broken ceramic piece so the scale is for that. It probably doesn't conform to any standard model railroad gauge or other standard, but it should be possible to scale the parts to match what you need if the default doesn't work for you. Posts are 13 mm high and 2.75 mm square; rails are 2.5 mm square and have a post pitch of 10.6 mm. I printed these in PLA with a 0.3 mm nozzle, 0.2 mm first layer and 0.05 mm layer height. I set the shell thickness to 1.5 so there's no infill/void; pieces are solid.
