The Festool domino DF500 is a marvelous hand mortising tool which is calibrated for metric measurements only, so using it with North American standard sized boards (imperial measurements) requires a good amount of calculation, or purchase of an after-market thickness gauge that is sized for undersized plywood boards only. Thus the need to create an adaptation that would make it possible to immediately position mortices at mid-center on American standard imperial wood sizes. I have separately uploaded a STL for the DF500 thickness gauge (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3001538"). However, using the domino setup blocks in this upload avoids the hassle of swapping out a thickness gauge. (4/22/2019 NOTE: I see that you can buy a commercial version of this gauge now at https://www.senecawoodworking.com/products/imperial-thickness-gauge-df500.) If you want to adapt these setup blocks for use with the larger DF700 hand mortiser, you will need to add 5 mm to thickness to accommodate that tool's higher router bit mid-point.
