For use with the Seneca small bit adapter for your Festool Domino DF700. When plunging down in the face of plywood the larger Domino goes too deep and will go through the thickness of the plywood. The smallest plunge depth setting isn't enough to limit the depth of cut. Snap these stops on the larger plunge bar on your Festool Domino DF700. Since the 4mm festool bit it shorter than the rest 5mm and up I've made two different sets. Use the 4mm for 1/2", 5/8" and 3/4" plywood and the 5mm+ sets for the other bits for each plywood type. I've set my depths to stop a full ply thickness of plywood that I use in my shop. Notes: DF700 Real bit length 90mm 4mm bit length 79.25mm (10.65mm shorter than the rest) Base shim to zero depth 62.00mm For 1/2" plunge, bit needs to extend to 9.25mm Shim=52.75mm For 5/8" plunge, bit needs to extend to 11.0mm Shim=51.00mm For 3/4" plunge, bit needs to extend to 15.0mm Shim=47.00mm 5mm and up length 89.90mm: Base shim to zero depth 72.5mm For 1/2" plunge, bit needs to extend to 9.25mm Shim=63.25mm For 5/8" plunge, bit needs to extend to 11.0mm Shim=61.5mm For 3/4" plunge, bit needs to extend to 15.0mm Shim=57.50mm
