This is an adapter which is meant to be used as an alternative to the standard Festool support for the OF1010 router in conjunction with a Festool track. It is useful in cases where the standard support can not be used because for example the workpiece contains a recess or a hole big enough for the standard support to "fall" into. The thickness of the adapter is 5mm so that it compensates the offset caused by the Festool track so that no tipping of the router can occur.
