The existing Festool protector guards allow for sanding up to objects greater than approximately 12mm in height. I often encounter situations where it would be useful to use the guard to sand up to lower items like window trim or the inside of shaker cabinet doors. This variation on the Festool protector allows for sanding up to objects greater than 5mm in height Printing: This object functions perfectly well when printed in PLA, although this is probably not optimum. The material should be selected for stiffness and resistance to abrasion.
