FF Finder spool holder with filament sensor

External spool holder for Flashforge Finder. Has a gimballed filament guide with original filament sensor. In addition you will need some M3 screws, 1.5 mm2 single strand electric wire and some wire for connecting the signal to original spool compartment. And some tools, soldering iron, shrink wrap etc. usual stuff. 1. Print the parts 2. Cut two pieces of single strand copper wire about 1 cm length. 3. Flatten and bend 90 degrees one end of each wire and insert them in the holes of sensor-connector 4. Unscrew the sensor from original spool compartment and insert it into sensor mount top part 5. Attach the sensor bottom part into the top with two M3 screws 6. Solder the wires for connecting the signal into sensor connector copper wires 7. Thread the other ends of the signal wires through the filament hole in Finder spool holder 8. Strip the ends of the wires and thread the copper parts into the holes in the arms of finder connector. Wrap the wires around the end of the connector arms so that bare copper stays on top of the bumps. Secure wires in place with some shrink wrap. 9. Mount the filament sensor assembly into gimbal pin with M3 screw and nut 10. Mount the sensor connector into filament sensor assembly and secure it in place with two M3 screws 11. Slide the gimbal arm into grooves in spool holder 12. Plug the gimbal pin into a hole in gimbal arm Check with Flashprint machine control window and some filament that everything works. If it doesn't recognise filament properly, most likely problem is on the finder connector end. The design is a bit finicky and it may need some twisting and poking to get it connecting properly. This mod is completely reversible - if you want to go back using original Flashforge spool all you need to do is unassemble the sensor from gimballed holder and mount it back to original spool holder.
