My boyfriend wanted to cosplay Cloud and wanted to 3D print the shoulder piece, so I got to work and made the model. I used be3D_printers' screw for the screws on the shoulder, as they print really well. Oh, and I'm the Aerith in the photo :D I've uploaded the full-scale size, as seen in our cosplay photo. We printed this on a LulzBot TAZ 5. Feel free to post a remix of a cut version to fit your 3D printer! I also sell printed and finished versions on my Etsy store:https://www.etsy.com/shop/GeekFabLab Also, I post progress pics and cosplay pics of my own on my Facebook page:https://www.facebook.com/BindiCosplay And the Cloud's Facebook page:https://www.facebook.com/NerdSox Post-Printing Post-process We used wall spackle to finish this prop, but you can also use XTC-3D or Bondo in the same fashion if you wish. We used wall spackle because it's cheap, cures fast, and is very lightweight. Steps: Remove support Cover print in filling material of choice (wall spackle, XTC-3D, Bondo, etc) Sand down so that the part is as smooth as possible. It won't be perfect at this point, but that's ok. I use 150 grit sandpaper for this portion. Spray entire part with Filler Primer. I use Rustoleum Filler Primer. Sand entire piece with 150 or 220 grit sandpaper. Sand with Filler Primer and sand again, this time with a finer sandpaper. Repeat this step until the part is as smooth as desired. Paint!
