I found the original design to be too sloppy for my bed hardware (see photo). But, since the bed hardware is good quality steel, I figured that my Home Depot Neodymium magnets might just do the trick. The magnets are 3mm thick and 18 mm in diameter. I adjusted the design using Tinkercad, printed it, and glued the magnets in place using Loctite GO2 clear glue. I'm sure you could use hot glue or what ever you want, but the magnets are slick, so your mileage may vary.
