FFCP Top Lid Heat Plug

FFCP Top Lid Heat Plug

This is a plug i made to go along with WrinklyWink's FFCP Top Lid Covers here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1672513 and here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1834128 This is made to be printed with FLEXIBLE filament (I used TPU) and then it slides over the pieces. I had to hold a fan on it and set the bridge speed multiplier to 20%. If you've got some 1337 tricks for flexible filament bridging, then go for it (and maybe leave me a comment to let me know!) For installation, i found it easiest to slide it over the top piece of the lid cover, then install that to the acrylic dome, and then slide in the bottom piece fo the lid cover, and then just make sure the bottom pieces of the plug are over the acrylic. This will by no means make your printer airtight or "safe", but it might slow down heat loss a bit, or help if your adding fume scrubbers to your printer and also it just seemed like something was missing in the original design, so here's my attempt to fill the space.
