Remixed using a couple previous designs. I had a fi'zi:k seat with the clip thing and wanted a light on there, I figure with a tubeless setup I might try commuting without a saddle bag, carry a couple extra things in my jersey. Anyways, I've got several bikes that I can use to commute to work on. The all use the same saddle system, I want to easily swap the current trusty Superflash tail light between each easily while not worrying about it falling off through sever duty applications. The angle is correct for my seatpost, it's at a -19 degree angle from the clip angle. I wanted it about level with the road at whatever height it's at typically. I heavily reinforced the click piece, it's easy to go in and hard to remove, it'll probably destroy on removal. It's to install once and leave in place but it shouldn't fail during the one time use. Hope it helps if you run into a similar need. Update, added a longer and slightly higher version ( v3 ) as I got an Ortlieb saddle bag that was conflicting, now it doesn't! Update, I added another even longer version ( v5 ) with some improvements to the area where the light clips onto and the angle is a little more downward.
