This is a versatile tip for the 10mm fiberglass rods used to support electric fences. We use these to hold up sagging mesh electric fences and bird nets over our raised gardens. If you check out the video at 5:10 minutes, https://youtu.be/LyqovCM-iwc, it might make more sense! It's a parametric design, so you can adjust the diameter to fit locally available rods. Alternatively, pack any gaps with hot glue or tape. It is highly recommended that you don't try to cut or file the rods as this could cause glass splinters – which is why we didn't simply create a notch at the top of the rods in the first place.
