cults3d

Zoomorphic horse fibula from the Celtiberian site of Numancia (Garray, Soria). It dates from the 1st-2nd century BC. It was an element of prestige, of social status, a type of brooch linked to the warrior elites of Celtiberia, with a dispersion that goes beyond the area of the northern sub-plateau (Celtiberianization). Of Celtiberian tradition, it is now known that they were not specific to an ethnic group, and that they were made in Celtiberian, Vettones, Vacceans and Carpetans areas.
