Fidget Spinner Cap Press Out Tool

Fidget Spinner Cap Press Out Tool

This is a remix of 2ROBOTGUY's super awesome bearing pressout tool, which I use frequently to remove bearings from spinners without hurting either. My problem is that sometimes when making or repairing spinners, the cap breaks inside the 608ZZ bearing. As I often have the caps glued in the bearings, they can be a real hassle to remove once broken off inside. This tool allows you to hold the bearing captive and press the cap out. The lower bore in the cup has a 20mm diameter, so this is the max cap diameter this tool supports, but you can always scale if needed (but keep in mind your 608ZZ bearing has a 22mm O.D.) The parts in the pictures were printed with ABS at 50% infill and 1.5mm walls (fairly stout). I use a vise (pictured) for doing the pressing, which minimizes damage to the tooling, bearings, and caps (if they aren't already broken). If you plan to use a hammer or mallet, you may need to adjust print stoutness accordingly. Hope some of you out there find this as useful as I will, and and as useful as I've found 2ROBOTGUY's original tool. Cheers!
