Fidget spinner (small)

A fidget spinner designed to fit for kids around 5 years and older. It uses the standard 608 bearings.

Print instructions

I've experimented a bit with the infills and concluded that having 100% infill on the spinner's edges makes them lighter and provides the mass to spin longer.

I've added a picture of the slicer insides to visualize it in a better way.

Using the recent PrusaSlicer version 2.3 (still in beta) ironing feature yielded the best results for the finish. The attached 3mf project file was created with PrusaSlicer 2.3.
Apart from the ironing, you can print it with any slicer.

The caps are fitting well into each other. You might consider using a small drop of super glue to be on the safe side. Be careful not gluing the bearings.

I've used standard 608Z bearings. I've cleaned them with isopropanol and lubed them with some light silicone oil.

Print Settings

Printer: Original Prusa i3 MK3S

Rafts: No

Supports: No

Resolution: 0.15

Ironing: Enabled

Infill: 15% and 100%
