The fidget stick it's a remix from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2338550 ( The Fidget Stick by zapta) Because the side walls were too thin and fragile to the pressure, I created a smaller cavity (oval shaped). The fidget was printed with wood pla , 100% infill, 2mm walls. It takes approximately 3 1/2 hours to print (60 speed). After printing it was sanded a bit to be smoother and coated with acrylic transparent spray paint. After painting, I prepared a piece of cooking nonstick paper in a very flat surface. I place a bit of hot glue on the paper and pressed firmly the top and after this the bottom until the glue was cold to touch. You can repeat the process for a thicker layer. Cut off the excess glue with a razor and you are ready! The fidget is working as the original and is very tough! Update! I have found a solution for silicone caps. You can cut two circles of 17mm diameter from an old mouse pad (throw away the fabric that is coated) and glue it with cyanoacrylic glue. Much smoother and prettier of course.
