This is a small collection of 3 fidget toys. Because there are multiple models, all STL files are organized in folders so you can easily find the files that you need.

Magnet Fidget

This is my favorite by far! Six magnets are glued into each half. When both sides are placed together, the magnets will align. When the fidget is rotated, the magnets snap into the next position.

This is designed to use 8mmx3mm magnets, but smaller magnets should also work (tested successfully with 6mmx2mm magnets). Be sure to pay attention to polarity! The magnets in the bottom should be oriented so that they are attracted to the magnets in the top.

Total magnets required: 12 (will work with 9)

Gear Fidget

Two herringbone gears spin together inside a simple housing. Print 2 gears and install them in between the two sections of the housing. This is a tight friction fit, but a dot of glue may be needed inside the center posts.

Push Button Fidget

2 magnets are glued into the sides of the push button. 2 more are glued into the housing walls. Once assembled, the magnets hold the push button in the ‘up’ position. When the button is depressed and released, the magnets will pull the button back into the ‘up’ position.

This is designed to use 8mmx3mm magnets, but smaller magnets should also work (tested successfully with 6mmx2mm magnets). Be sure to pay attention to polarity! The magnets in the button should be attracted to the magnets in the housing.

Total magnets required: 4

For anyone interested, the following filaments were used in the models pictured above:

PrintBed Yellow PLA

PrintBed Green PLA

MatterHackers Purple Build Series PLA

Sunlu Blue-Grey PLA
